August Advice for Family Travelers
Either you have a family vacation planned for August, you are on one right now, or you don't have one planned at all. It's never too late to put together a last minute trip together. Don't make Good Morning America's report on The Death of the American Vacation a reality for you or your family.
If you have a trip planned then good for you! Parent Hacks has some good ideas on killing time during airport delays or if you're driving, on getting an extra TripTik for the Kids. If you're heading for a European beach vacation, be sure to read about the Mediterranean on jellyfish alert as reported by the BBC.
No plans yet? It's not too too late to head to a Bryce Canyon dreamscape, Chase the Perfect Taco up the California Coast, or see Art that the Children can see in Minneapolis. Also, Gadling is reporting that Tel Aviv Still Ok to Visit despite the war (and now cease fire) going on in norther Israel.
If you're kids are ready for some serious adventure, it's not too early to plan for Summer '07. Check out Alaska's Seaward Highway, go hot-air ballooning in Turkey , plan a trip to Iceland the land of fire and ice or schedule to attend the 2007 Maine's lobster festival.
