Know any good family spas?

Maybe its the frigid weather that we're experiencing here in the northeast. Or maybe it's because Valentine's day is just around the corner. Or maybe because it's been six months since our summer family vacations... But I woke up this morning wondering, are there day or weekend spas that cater to families?

No, not spas that pamper kids and teens  (you've got be kidding!). And I'm also not thinking about all inclusives that have camps and kid drop off services. I'm thinking weekend getaway, spa treatment for the parents, activities for the kids, and maybe a mix of dinners together and separate. Something like Sam's Family Spa in Desert Hot Springs, California (near Palm Springs). The good spa guide has a number of family spa's listed in Britain, but it's not clear to me what some of the spas listed are really offering to families (parents!). SpaFinder lets you search for kid/family friendly spas, but click through an individual listing and you'll have to dig around to find what programs each Spa has for kids.

A little more hunting and pecking, and I find resorts that have some spa and family services. But these resorts are budget breakers... It looks to me like the message from the smaller spas is, 'leave the kids at home'.
