A Good Old Fashioned Breakfast
There is nothing like having a great and slow paced breakfast when you are traveling. I’m not talking about an overpriced stuffy breakfast that the top hotels serve, the breakfast buffets in Vegas, the greasy spoon, the diner, a good coffee shop or a great bakery. I like all of these options, but that’s not what gets me super excited.
I’m talking about your good old fashioned breakfast.
Pancakes of the day served with real maple syrup. Fluffy omelets with specialty
cheeses. Great coffee. A choice of freshly squeezed juices. Fresh baked breads and muffins. Did I mention
great coffee? All served in a neighborly, no-rush, low key environment. Let me
take my time, read the paper and enjoy my breakfast!
Ok, so now you’re on the road, you’re not staying at a bed
and breakfast, and you want to find one of these places? How do you go about
finding one?
I live near New York so
I’ll name drop some of my favorites here: Try Bubbys in Tribeca, the Comfort
Diner on 45th (not your traditional diner), or if you have the bucks, try Michael’s New York
Pretty sad that I can’t remember more places. All the more
reason to write up your favorites in a TripConnect review and share them with
your friends!
