College Socialites-- get a job, it's Labor Day!

It's back to school time, and money always comes in handy for buying all of those pricey text books-- and for the parties. Sick of delivering pizzas and being a service monkey this year? If you want to get a job that fits into your social life, you're in luck! TripConnect is  looking for campus reps-- we're going to pay you to sign your friends up to our free site AND we'll be giving bonus when you hit the numbers. Strength in Numbers: Getting into Groups

Another week has zoomed by here at TripConnect, and we've been working (playing, really) by juicing up content for our TripConnect groups. We met some great people with who are providing fabulous resources for our Gay and Lesbian Group: Fun maps and Journey Out. If you're planning on going to OktoBEARfest, plan on getting a ticket soon because it's not actually in October...it's in September!

We're also starting off our Seniors group. If anyone has a traveling granny or grandfather who also surfs the web, give them our address-- we would love to know what they think.

Lastly, with all the hassle at the airports these days, it would be great to hear from members who know the roads and could let the rest of us know the most fun way to get from point a to point b.
Remember, we'll be giving away some great prizes to members that share their advice, reviews, and photos with us-- good luck to everyone!

News from Your New Editor

Hello/Bonjour/Hola! 

I am TripConnect’s new content editor and I’ve been perusing and linking hundreds of great articles and reviews over the past few weeks. I love reading about everyone’s summer adventures and explorations around the globe. As you may know, we give away gift certificates every month to members that write he best destination and hotel reviews (in addition to our other photo/advice/hotel review contest posted on the homepage), so keep sending in your thoughts and advice about where you’ve been traveling. 

Since TripConnect is all about travel networking with like-minded voyagers, I invite everyone to check out the travel groups. I’ve added literally hundreds of articles about everything from the Leprosy Museum in Bergen to details on the new Tibetan railroad, and all sorts in-between. I post new content every day, so check in and see what’s new in the area that interests you. There are a few events with expiration dates on them coming up…if you are in Italy, take a look at the music festival with Grammy nominated artists in Sorrent, the Reggae festivals if you’re grooving around Europe, Shakespeare and Opera in the Park for fellow New Yorkers, and LGBT family events all across the USA and Canada in August. If you know of an upcoming festival or event, join the Festivals group and let us know what you recommend (or what you don’t recommend).
